Calming Creams is a soft bedroom edit in cream velvet and fleece, pairing an ottoman storage bed with a velvet storage bench and a fringed throw.
Calming Creams is a short edit built around a serene cream palette for the bedroom. The centrepiece is the Imogen padded ottoman storage bed in soft-touch cream velvet, with a tall square panelled headboard and polished gold legs that lift it off the floor for a light, open look. It comes in double and king size, and the ottoman base gives hidden space for bedding and spare linen.
At the foot of the bed, the Leo cream velvet ottoman storage bench adds a padded seat with a modern channelled top and a spacious storage trunk under a lift and hold lid. At 130cm long it suits the end of a double or king size bed, or a hallway. To soften the scheme further, the cream fleece throw with a boho fringe can be draped across the bed or bench.

A guide to our calming creams
Double or king size?
The Imogen bed is available in double and king size. The double measures L208cm x W147cm and the king L217cm x W161cm, and both have a 147cm headboard height. Each takes a mattress up to 30cm deep and 50kg in weight, so check your mattress before ordering.
A king size gives a tall headboard more breathing room in a larger bedroom, while a double suits a guest room or a smaller main bedroom. Straightforward assembly is required, so allow a little time once the bed arrives.
Why choose ottoman storage?
Ottoman storage keeps bulky items out of sight without adding another piece of furniture. The Imogen bed hides storage in its base while keeping an open look, so the room still feels light. The Leo bench adds a second layer, with a spacious trunk beneath a lift and hold lid that is useful for throws, cushions or seasonal bedding.
Both are upholstered in cream velvet, so they read as a coordinated pair at the end of the bed. A cream velvet bed on gold legs is a calm alternative to grey and works with warm whites, taupes and soft beige walls.
Delivery and returns
In-stock items are dispatched within 24 hours. The throw and bench usually arrive in 2 to 3 days on the UK mainland, while large items like the Imogen bed take 3 to 5 days with our partnered 2-man couriers, who can arrange weekend delivery at a possible extra cost. Delivery is £5 under £100 and £20 over £100. We are not able to deliver to the Highlands and Islands at present.
If something is not right, you have 30 days from delivery to return or exchange it in the original packaging (ex-display excluded). Non made-to-order items carry a one year standard manufacturer's guarantee.
