The Decor Sale gathers statement mirrors, Malini velvet cushions, textured vases, table lamps and cosy throws, with gold, silver, champagne and brass finishes throughout.

Mirrors are a strong part of this edit. Leaner mirrors include the large black rustic arched window style mirror and the tall champagne gold arch leaner. The Holly extra large brass circle statement mirror can hang vertically, horizontally or lean against a wall, while the Gaia gold framed mirror, Orbit bronze framed circle mirror, Isabella round bevelled mirror in silver and the Venus antiqued gold set of three suit hallways, living rooms and the wall above a console table.

Malini cushions come in champagne, mushroom, copper and silver velvet, as well as ivory boucle, metallic foil and gold shimmer designs, many with premium feather filling. Square and rectangle shapes make it easy to layer a sofa or bed. Throws include the Knightsbridge grey quilted velvet throw, a cream fringed fleece throw and the Malini slate cosy shearling throw.

Vases range from ribbed glass to gold textured ceramic face vases, and lighting includes the brass palm table lamp, the black cloud lamp with a faux suede shade and a black lamp with a natural linen shade. Leaner mirror or wall mirror?

A leaner mirror stands on the floor against a wall and makes a bold statement in a bedroom or hallway. The black arched window style mirror is 160cm high and weighs 23.75kg, and it has a hook to secure it to the wall. The champagne gold arch leaner is 170cm tall and slimmer at 50cm wide. For hanging, the Gaia, Orbit, Isabella and Venus mirrors come with keyhole or D-ring fixings. The Holly brass circle mirror works either way and includes anti-topple fixings. Always fix large mirrors securely.

Layering velvet cushions

Start with larger square cushions at the back, such as the Malini large Metallica silver velvet at 55cm or the copper and champagne velvet at 50cm. Add a 45cm cushion in a contrasting texture, like the ivory boucle Textura or the gold shimmer design, then finish with a 30cm by 50cm rectangle in mushroom, champagne or silver grey velvet. Keeping to one metallic tone, silver or gold, makes the arrangement feel considered. Several of these cushions are dry clean only, so check the care notes on each product.

Decorative vases or for flowers?

Some vases in this sale are purely decorative. The gold textured face vases in ceramic and the tall black and silver polyresin vase are marked do not use with water, so style them with dried stems or pampas, or leave them empty as sculpture. The ribbed glass vases, in clear or warm beige, are made from glass and bring a softer, modern feel to a shelf or dining table. Group vases in odd numbers and mix heights, for example the medium and large face vases together.
